andreea ali is a professional makeup artist based in paris, and in addition to having millions of followers on her YouTube channel where she shares the best beauty tips and tricks, she has a long and very important collaboration with CINCO. she is also a dear friend with whom I have the privilege to be in a family context and just enjoy the sun and the beach (and a little shopping).
there was a little time to ask some questions about beauty products despite the family chaos and kids running around. It's almost impossible to have someone like her around and not want to ask. so, in a very informal conversation, here are andreea's tips.
li: you have to share...what products do you bring and what do you recommend?
andreea ali: well, it's not always the same products, but for beach vacations (like this one) I can't forget sunscreen. there is no single solution for skin care, but sunscreen is unanimous. I don't like heavy textures, I don't like strong smells, I don't like oily products. and since I've had acne, I'm always afraid of oily textures.
my advice would be universkin's sunscreen powder spf50+, with its broad uva-uvb spectrum and very high protection against uv damage, especially premature aging, hyperpigmentation, redness and dehydration. it can be applied over makeup every 2 or 3 hours and is suitable for all skin types, feeling light and leaving a soft touch. brings one applicator and lasts the entire vacation
li: great! what else?
andreea ali: well, I always carry a lip balm with me and am addicted to it. I've tried them all. I brought the lip butter balm, it has different colors and it gives a nice shine. it naturally moisturizes and conditions your lips, it's a vegan formula with shea and murumuru butters (rich in vitamins and loaded with moisturizing oleic acid) and plant waxes to deeply hydrate your lips.

li: any final advice?
andreea ali: moisturizing is the most common step in beauty routines, but finding the right cream for each of us is not always easy. my skin type depends on the season, but usually it's combination, dry on the cheeks and oily on the t-zone. so I look for products that balance the skin.
I really like the brilliant radiant resilience moisturizer - noble panacea. with probiotics to help skin look firm and fresh, and brown algae extract to provide natural protection against urban pollution and premature aging. the texture is sheer and non-greasy (I hate a heavy moisturizer) making it an excellent base for makeup, which is super important to me.
